Lake Prespa Macedonia

The Prespa Lakes are freshwater lakes in Europe that run through Albania, Greece, and the Republic of Macedonia. The lake is bordered by the Prespa National Park which is home to some of the most biodiverse fauna in the world.

In 2018 the Great Prespa Lake was the setting for the signing of the Prespa Agreement, intended to resolve the Macedonia naming dispute by renaming the Republic of Macedonia to North Macedonia.
