The Pass Powderkeg MTB trail is a single track stacked loop system, on the northeast side of the Pass Powderkeg ski area in Blairmore Alberta.
The Pass Powderkeg trail is famous for hosting the 2009 Alberta Summer Games cross-country and Alberta Cup downhill mountain biking events. Apart from the original course areas that area still in use, 12km of single track trail was added in 2010 and the Berma-Grin flow trail in 2014.
The trails offer stunning views of Turtle Mt and the surrounding peaks and with several options between the ground and peak for the various skill levels. It is bound to be a great day out, no matter your skill level.
The Berma-Grin trail, Alberta Cup DH trail and Roots O’Hazard trail are downhill only; all other trail can be ridden in either direction.
